Epic, Energetic, Emotional. Dead On Mars is a one man project of symphonic extreme metal that draws its inspiration from various styles and combines the rage of Death Metal, the atmosphere of Black Metal, the unconventionalism of Progressive Metal and (with the second album) also the gravity of Doom Metal into an organic experience. The project is located in Germany and was founded in 2017 by Thomas Winter, who follows a DIY approach and does everything by himself including composition, production and artwork. TRANSCENDENCE (2020)
„Transcendence“ is the second album following 2018’s debut „Arrival“ and is out May 1, 2020. Although being also an instrumental album, „Transcendence“ is a form of dramatic storytelling that is inspired by existential issues such as coping with one’s mortality, the struggle for independence and the human drive to explore and overcome limitations. The album has a runtime of 46:12 minutes and features 7 tracks that take will take on an emotional and yet powerful soul-journey. Listen to it here:
